  • Both SUVs feature Mahindra’s "Heartcore Design" aesthetic and aerodynamic LED styling  The XEV 9e stands out with a sophisticated coupe‑SUV silhouette; the BE 6 is sportier and more compact 

  • Built on INGLO platform with BYD LFP “blade batteries” and 3‑in‑1 powertrain, offering strong range and performance Support for fast DC charging (140–180 kW), and home AC chargers (7.2/11 kW), with AC top‑up times from ~6 to 12 hrs .

  • Advanced features include ADAS Level 2+, 360° cameras, auto‑park, AR‑HUD, premium audio, panoramic sunroof, OTA updates 

  • Strong safety credentials: BE 6 earned a 5‑star Bharat NCAP rating, up to 7 airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, brake‑by‑wire, hill assist



3. 📅 Launch & Deliveries

  • Launched in November 2024; roll‑out began January 2025 

  • Top‑end variants (Pack Three, 79 kWh) deliveries began mid‑March 2025, with lower trims rolling out by mid‑2025 

  • In their first 70 days (mid‑March to early June 2025), Mahindra delivered over 10,000 units of these two SUVs—averaging one every 10 minutes 







4. 🧭 Market Position & Strategy

  • These SUVs target the premium EV segment, starting around ₹19 L, and aim to compete with models like Tata’s Harrier EV, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Creta EV & BYD Atto 3  by significant investment (~₹4,500 crore, total ₹16,000 crore), Mahindra plans to scale production (90k increasing to 200k units/year) and offer five more EV models by 2030
